Elder Dugan the Prospector

Elder Dugan the Prospector is the senior pioneer of the Society of Ariel Haven, the human encampment in the early Underworld. She is the quest giver for two linked Underworld quest chains, both centred on the fate of her lost pioneer companions and the gray goblin threat that wiped them out.

"Search the Underworld for the lost adventurers. Either bring word of their progress or evidence of their fate to Elder Dugan."

Find 4 Ariel Haven Writs of Membership belonging to the lost pioneers. Leave the elder's encampment and head back toward the Underworld entrance until the swampy area — the writs are recovered by killing the creatures around the tragic remains of the elder's companions.

Reward: a Candlewood Torch — blessed, with Spell Channeling and Faster Casting −1.

Ending the Threat

Unlocked only after rescuing Neville Brightwhistle, the last surviving pioneer.

"Travel into the Stygian Abyss and kill gray goblins until they are subdued and will not attack the settlers anymore."

Kill 10 Gray Goblins. Sources:
