The archer focuses their will into an arrow of pure force, dealing additional damage and dazing their enemy. Dazed enemies are temorarily easier to hit, and sometimes forget who they are attacking. This attack will interrupt the target's spell casting even if they are under the effect of the protection spell.

Force Arrow is a special move that was added during the Mondain's Legacy expansion in the summer of 2005.

Effects

This attack provides a 20% Damage Increase. Additionally, it will reduce the target's DCI by 10%. This attack can also be stacked multiple times for a further DCI reduction of 5% per stack and 2 second duration increase. The Dazed effect will provide a guaranteed spell interrupt, even if the target is under the effect of Protection. Once this effect wears off, it cannot be reapplied for 10 seconds.

Force Arrow also has the effect of making the target fall into Peace Mode. It occurs roughly 40% of the time in PvE.

Primary weapons

Weapons with a primary ability of Force Arrow require 70 or higher in the appropriate fighting skill and 30 or higher in tactics.

Secondary weapons

No weapons have Force Arrow as a secondary ability.

  • Publish 71 (21 Jul 2011): This attack now provides a 20% Damage increase. Additionally it will reduce the target’s DCI by 10%. This attack can also be stacked multiple times for a further DCI reduction of 5% per stack and 2 second duration increase.
    The Dazed effect, will now provide a GUARANTEED spell interrupt. Even if the target is under the effect of Protection.
    Once this effect wears off, it cannot be re-applied for 10 Seconds.
