The Sterling Silver Ring was first available as a reward for turning in artifacts during the Treasures of Doom dynamic event that took place with the release of Publish 87. It was subsequently made available for other 'Treasures' events that followed. However, beginning with the Treasures of the Undead Lords that released with Publish 109, it was changed to Shard Bound, and this later version cannot be transferred with any Character Transfer tokens. This makes the original version more valuable since it does not have this restriction.

The Sterling Silver Ring features a special ability to add +20 skill bonus applied by double clicking the ring and selecting from the available skills
