The Fellowship was originally introduced in Ultima Prime, specifically in Ultima VII: The Black Gate & Serpent Isle. Game fiction presented via the official UO website suggests that Ultima VII, and other parts of Ultima Prime, are the inspiration for the entire story arc of 2019.
