World Map

Blank Scrolls can be used in place of blank Maps.

This map shows the entire map for the facet on which it is created (excluding T2A). Dungeon maps are not displayed on the map

How large the map itself is displayed also depends upon your character's Cartography skill:

displayed height/width = (Cartography * 6.6) + 25 to a maximum of 400

Cartography skill displayed area displayed size 50 entire map 355 x 355 56.9 entire map 400 x 400 100 entire map 400 x 400

World Maps sold by NPC Cartographers are displayed at only 200x200. Because World Maps crafted by cartographers with at least 56.9 Cartography are displayed at 400x400, those should be preferred by those interested in using World Maps for plotting routes for boats.

The map which is created also depends upon which facet your character is located. In the past, crafting maps anywhere but Trammel or Felucca would create an . Now, all facets except for Eodon can have maps created:

Facet Result Felucca (Britannia) entire world map of Britannia Felucca (T2A) entire world map of Britannia Felucca (dungeons) Trammel (Britannia) entire world map of Britannia Trammel (T2A) entire world map of Britannia Trammel (dungeons) Ilshenar entire world map of Ilshenar Malas entire world map of Malas Tokuno entire world map of Tokuno Ter Mur entire world map of Ter Mur Eodon

As World Maps crafted in T2A display the world map of Britannia, it is not possible to craft a map which shows all of the map for T2A on a single map. The largest map which can be crafted which still shows T2A is a Sea Chart crafted by a player located in T2A.
