Toons not showing on guild roster?

I have a question, why would someone that's in the guild not show on the guild roster? I went to look up someone this morning to see whose alt it was, and could not find them in the roster, yet I spoke to them in guild chat and could clearly see their guild tag. I am an Emissary and even did a search for them by name - nothing. I've had this happen before so am curious?

Hmm could they be using the incognito spell?

they could have used a name change token
it doesn't update the name on the Guild list

or maybe a disguise kit?
I don't know if it changes their name in chat
but it does in game
(a former Governor used to do this on Sonoma)

You are welcome

in order for their new name to be correct on the roster
they have to leave the guild and then be re-guilded
