Throwing weapons and special moves??

Why do none of the throwing weapons have whirlwind as a special??
can we get some throwing weapons love?? maybe a new weapon or two

I suspect a lot of thought went into what specials are available to throwing weapons for balancing issues.

I think the potential for a ranged whirlwind was a bit beyond what they wanted to try to balance. Mystic Arc from the boomerang is most likely the closest you will get.
