Fellowship Medallion, why Gargoyles get it with Resists and other Races not ?

Does anyone know the reason why the Fellowship Medallion for Gargoyles comes with Resists while those for other Races don't have any ?

Furthermore, is it known what it is for ?

It comes with resists for Gargoyles, I assume, because necklaces are actually considered armour for them, while for humans and elves, that piece would be the gorget.

In such a case, the Resists that the Fellowship Medallion for Gargoyles comes with, are totally underwhelming, to my viewing...

I mean, they are 1, 2, 2, 2, 3.

The Developers could at least had it come with Exceptional Resistances...

Last I looked the Gorget was armor. Doesn't make sense that the 'neck' piece for the garg (ie amulet slot) has the resists but the one for the other races doesn't.
