Food Deco Tool and Special Symbols

I'm trying to include a Christmas Tree symbol when entering text in the message field when using the food deco tool. Obviously I've not a clue how to do it. Can anyone help?

A lot of symbols cannot be used due to the font limitations of the game. It may be a UNICODE symbol, but the game will not render all characters.

You can try using the Character Mapper to copy a symbol, then try to paste it into the game, but I've not had any luck with a whole lot of symbols in books, so I seriously doubt would work with the cake deco tool.
