This attack does moderate extra Damage to the Target and immediately hides the user. In order to attempt a Shadowstrike you must have a high amount of the Stealth skill.

Shadow Strike is a special move that was added during the Age of Shadows expansion in 2003.

Effects

This move causes a Damage Increase of 25% and hides the attacker. Since Shadowstrike already requires 80 Stealth to perform, it is exempt from the tactics requirement.

Primary weapons

Weapons with a primary ability of Shadow Strike require 70 or higher in the appropriate fighting skill and 80 or higher in stealth.

• Short Spear - Fencing
• Skinning Knife - Swordsmanship

Secondary weapons

Weapons with a secondary ability of Shadow Strike require 90 or higher in the appropriate fighting skill and 80 or higher in stealth.

• Cutlass - Swordsmanship
• Two Handed Axe - Swordsmanship

Publishes

• Publish 46 (10 Aug 2007): Weapon Special Moves now require Weapon Skill and Tactics of appropriate skill levels. (i.e., 70 in each skill for primary weapon special moves, 90 in each skill for secondary weapon special moves). Exceptions to the Tactics requirement are the following: Shadowstrike since it already requires 80 Stealth to perform.
